Russia’s Gazprom departs from Iran’s Azar oil field projectsICFTO--Russia’s Gazprom was expelled from the Azar oil field, the director general of the Iranian regime’s National Oil Company claimed in an interview on October 8th with the IRGC-affiliated Fars news agency.

While Gazprom claimed receiving a grace period on developing the Azar oil field, Ahmad Ghal-e Bani, director general of Iran’s National Oil Company said this Russian firm has fully exited from this project.

On the Azar oil field which is shared by the Iranian regime with Iraq, Ghale-e Bani claimed Gazprom had delayed on its commitments to the Iranian regime. It is worth noting that the Russian firm has denied ever receiving any warning from the Iranian regime’s National Oil Company.
