Christian convert, Naser Navard Goltapeh, was transferred to Evin Prison to serve his 10-year prison term. He was transferred to section 8, hall 10 of Evin Prison on January 20.

In his trial session which was held in May 2017, the judge cited the Ministry of Intelligence report against Mr. Gol-Tapeh and charged him with “acting against national security through the formation and establishment of an illegal church organization in his home.”

However, his lawyers were not allowed access to the contents and documents in his case file.
