Mohammad Hossein Maleki, 47, the director of a website in Iran, has been sentenced to death on charges of “corruption on Earth.” A court in Isfahan has issued the ruling.
Political prisoner Soheil Arabi has been threatened to death by two inmates incited by prison authorities. He has been intentionally kept at ward 2A controlled by the IRGC in the Great Tehran Penitentiary where non-political prisoners, including potentially violent offenders are being kept. Prison authorities have literally placed a bounty on his head and two inmates are threatening him constantly. The two have reportedly been told have if they murder Mr. Arabi, they will be rewarded with transfer to another prison.
June – 05: Hamid Reza Amini, director of a telegram channel, who has been detained in prison since December 02, 2017 was sentenced by the Branch 57 of the Culture and Media Court to pay 95 dollars in cash for charges of publishing lies to disturb public opinion.
June 05: An Ahwazi Arab activist, Hatam Marmazi, was killed under torture in the city’s Intelligence detention center. His family received phone calls from the Intelligence office, asking them to collect Marmazi’s dead body from the detention center on Tuesday.
Mehdi Mir-Mehdi the head of Tehran’s Computer Techs Guild Union cited the increase in use of anti-filters during these days and said: “The new chief of site-police of NAJA has notified the union about the regulations of prohibition of using VPN and anti-filters in café nets.”
